A distinctive interpretation of one of Cartier’s most recognisable designs, the Tank Divan Ref. 2600 stands apart with its unusual horizontal rectangular case and unmistakable Cartier proportions.
Introduced in the early 2000s, the Tank Divan takes the traditional Tank aesthetic and gives it a wider, more contemporary presence on the wrist. The polished stainless-steel case measures approximately 38 × 30 mm, complemented by a classic light-coloured dial with bold black Roman numerals, railway minute track and Cartier’s signature blued-steel sword hands.
At the crown sits the characteristic blue cabochon, while a sapphire crystal protects the dial. Inside is the reliable Cartier Calibre 690 quartz movement, making the watch both elegant and particularly easy to wear.
Less commonly encountered than the traditional Tank Française, Américaine or Louis Cartier, the Tank Divan has developed a strong following among collectors looking for something recognisably Cartier but considerably more individual.
